Tourism in cambodia 2023

   Cambodia is a major tourist destination, home to the UNESCO World Heritage site Angkor and Preah Vihear Temple. A secondary attraction is the seaside resort town of Sihanoukville and further beach tourism developments resulting from the Kep Tourism Development Master Plan (2022-35). The construction of new international airports in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap is expected to increase travel to Cambodia with larger aircraft and increased capacity.

   According to Miss. Hor Sodavin thinks that Kampong Speu Province Some people may think that this province does not have many places to play, but just a Kirirom National Park can attract a lot of tourists, like this beautiful natural area once visited. And really cannot restrain myself from visiting again. And besides, there are many other entertainment areas, such as Phnom Khnong Phsar, etc., also make many people want to get there. The province that she thinks not many people go to is Siem Reap, because we met in the COVID-19 crisis, so this province is not as crowded as before.
   According to Mr. Chey Visal  thinks Angkor Wat Temple at Siem Reap Province is the popular place in Cambodia because people want to see the Amazing temple but not only the temple, it also have more place to go for relax and enjoyable. The province that he thinks has less people to visit is Prey Veng Province because this province don't have natural resource and enjoyable place for visit.

   According to Miss. Khieu Navin thinks that Angkor Wat Temple at Siem Reap Province is the most popular place in Cambodia that have a lot of tourists visiting there include foreigners from different countries and Nation people because there are many places such as historic sites, old buildings, and many  sculptures by our king. She continues, places that have a little bit people who go to visit is Rathanak Kiri because there have not improved yet, have a little people who lived there, and have a small community.

   Based on the KHMER TIMES, November 06,2023 defines that Cambodia welcomed 3.92 million international tourist arrivals during the first nine months of 2023, surging 211% year on year, the country’s Ministry of Tourism said on Friday. 

The current population of Cambodia is 17,031,672 as of Thursday, December 28, 2023, based on Worldometer elaboration of the latest United Nations data. Cambodia 2023 population is estimated at 16,944,826 people at mid year. Cambodia population is equivalent to 0.21% of the total world population. Cambodia ranks number 73 in the list of countries (and dependencies) by population.
